Axis Properties dialog box should be used to change various parameters of the
selected axis, grouped on three tabs: Scale, Labels and View.
Scale properties:
Automatic scale - if checked, DM2000 graphic engine will execute data
scaling cycle prior to plotting. You may define non-zero scale margins to
expand automatically calculated axis range up to 25%.
Manual scale - allows you to define axis range manually. Note that minimum
value may be greater than maximum.
Axis expression allows you to transform appropriate coordinates of all
points in all series (X axis expression doesn't affect functional series).
Although column identifiers are allowed in the axis expressions, probably
you will use only cx/cy parameters. See expression
syntax for more details about available functions, operators and
parameters.
Labels properties:
Numeric format - allows you to specify format type, minimal width and
number of places after decimal point for axis labels.
Font button - click to change labels font and color.
Caption - use this field to edit axis caption. It may be used to describe
your data.
View properties:
You may define number of major (long) and minor (short) ticks. Note that
actual number of major ticks may differ in Smart ticks mode (when tick
positions are specially calculated to make labels more
"readable").
Use this tab to select axis color and line width. If you check "Show
grid lines" flag, these lines will be plotted at the positions of major
ticks.
Use context-sensitive help (F1 key and [?] button) to get more
detailed information about controls.
Notice: currently you should use axis (or serie) expressions
instead of log scale as described in this example.
